Job Description

Provides quality support to users by responding to end user inquiries and resolving problems associated with telecommunications networks, computer hardware and core business applications. Isolates problem source and works with the internal telecommunications, system operations, application development and vendors to resolve problems. Follows up with users to ensure problem resolution. Develops and maintains documentation of all activities. This position offers 24 hour support to corporate cardholders 7 days a week.

Scheduled shifts for this opportunity will vary between days & evenings with rotating overnight and weekend requirements throughout the month. All schedules are determined a month in advance. Overtime opportunities are available for high volume periods. Shift differential is available when assigned to certain shifts.

This position requires a post-employment screening process administered by the General Services Administration (GSA). This additional post-employment screening process includes an interview, employment, education, residence, credit bureau, and criminal background checks as well as an extensive reference check. More information will be provided at the time of offer.

Basic Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of experience in the telecommunications or applications programming field or job related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
- General knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of telecommunications equipment, systems and vendor capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Good verbal and written communications skills
