Duties: Develop and maintain automation test architecture for enterprise software utilizing Protractor or Selenium / Microsoft C#/.NET and other technologies. Create generic reusable core automation components for new feature that are easy to maintain even when underlying features changes. Perform evaluation, analysis in latest automation methodologies and tools. Deep understanding of BDD process and create automation in early stages. Perform code review of automation work and make continuous improvements to Test coverage, execution and reporting. Provide technical direction and support to junior engineering team members on automation frameworks and all aspects of automation testing to ensure industry standards and best practices are followed. Collaborate with product engineering, architecture and teams to understand automation requirement and define solutions. Work on projects regarding Moody's proprietary CreditLens, on-demand lending software for credit analysis. Analyze business requirements and functional specifications of the feature/functionality and coordinate with product and architecture teams to understand the functionality walkthroughs. Create Test Scripts and Test Cases to ensure coverage of all areas of the core framework. Use Rally for user stories, Test cases and to log and track defects for various testing phases. Participate in sprint planning, daily scrums, retrospective & demo meetings.
Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related quantitative field plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Automation Testing Framework and Strategies. Must have at least 2 years of experience with following: applying knowledge of programming languages in either C# or Java; using Specflow and Cucumber behavior driven development tools and REST/SOAP web service testing; working with Selenium or Protractor opensource automation tools and VBScript, Perl and Shell scripting languages; using JIRA/HP ALM (Quality Center)/Rally test management tools; working with OpenCover and SonarQube code coverage and analysis tools and Perforce, GitHub, SVN source management tools; using Agile/Scrum methodology and Jenkins CI/CD tools; working with SQL, Oracle, MongoDB and Postgres database; and utilizing Eclipse, Visual Studio, and IntelliJ IDE
