Job Description

The eCommerce Business Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and improving the eCommerce business in Europe. They will accomplish this by conducting research, interpreting data and making recommendations based on their findings.

They will assist with defining to identify new business opportunities, along with conducting competitor and market analysis and gather sales feedback. They will help to identify problems and opportunities within the business and ultimately provide solutions that help achieve the goals of the eCommerce team.

Role Description:
  • Conduct research & interpret findings on market insights, business opportunities, industry trends, competing organizations, customer demographics, and new technologies
  • Identify relevant areas for improvement within the eCommerce business & make recommendations
  • Support eCommerce Sales, Consulting & Market Development teams
  • Work closely with Business Intelligence teams to provide comprehensive MI reporting
  • Track and record metrics, data and statistics on company performance and finances on a regular basis
  • Develop communication tools to ensure a high level of awareness of policies, plans, procedures and strategy across the eCommerce team & wider organisation
  • Work cross-functionally with all relevant teams within the business including Product, Sales, Marketing, Channel Development, etc.

Basic Qualifications
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to conduct analysis of a business need and appropriately schedule meetings, plan agendas, confer with business line leaders, document, and make verbal and written presentations
  • Strong project management, analytical, forecasting, planning, organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are a must
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, cross-functionally and as part of a team
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel to attend meetings as business may require
  • Bachelor's degree required


Preferred Skills/Experience

Payments Industry experience is desirable
